ENDORSED ORDER granting the #2 Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order. Respondents and those in privity with them are hereby TEMPORARILY RESTRAINED AND ENJOINED from moving Petitioner Rosa Maria Castaneda Resendiz out of the Middle District of Florida until further order of the Court. See Garcia v. Quinones et al., No. 6:26-cv-181-GAP-DCI, Doc. 6 (M.D. Fla. Jan. 26, 2026). With respect to the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (Doc. 1), the Court finds that: (1) Petitioner Rosa Maria Castaneda Resendiz is in custody under or by color of the authority of the United States, i.e., Immigration and Customs Enforcement ("ICE"); and (2) as noted in the Court's Temporary Restraining Order in Garcia, Resendiz's detention is likely unlawful. Therefore, it is ORDERED that the United States Government by its Agent ICE shall SHOW CAUSE in writing by 3:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2026, why the Writ should not be granted. Furthermore, TAKE NOTICE that the Court will consider this matter at a hearing scheduled at 10:00 AM on April 14, 2026, before the undersigned. Respondents are ordered to produce Petitioner Rosa Maria Castaneda Resendiz in person at the hearing.
