The motion is granted to the extent that Attorney Brett Lewis may appear pro hac vice on behalf of Plaintiff. Within twenty-one (21) days of the date of this Order, counsel shall comply with the fee and electronic filing requirements and file a notice of compliance with said requirements. The motion is denied to the extent that it does not comply with the Local Rules of the Middle District of Florida in effect at this time, specifically Local Rule 2.02(a), which requires counsel to file a written designation and consent-to-act on the part of a member of the bar of this Court, resident in Florida, who will act as local counsel in this case. Attorney Roberto Ledesma is not a Florida resident. Plaintiff has until February 1, 2021 to comply with this requirement. The Court notes, however, that revisions to the Middle District's Local Rules, effective February 1, 2021, eliminate the local counsel requirement and apply "in all proceedings then pending."
