Filing 14 ENDORSED ORDER denying #12 Motion to Remand to State Court. The Court has reviewed this record. The plaintiff movant seeks remand due to the $75,000 amount in controversy not being met. The record shows that this amount is reasonably met. The insurance policy listed coverage exceeds the amount in controversy requirement. Movant states that she has a 7mm disc tear in her spine from the subject car accident; a significant injury. Movant also averred some time ago that she had a minimum of $47,000 in medical expenses. This is likely higher now and that medical expense number does not include other elements of her claim. The motion to remand is not well taken. Signed by Judge William F. Jung on 3/10/2021.
