Hooker contends this Court fraudulently erred in a separate action, No. 8:20-cv-2557-KKM-JSS, when it dismissed Hooker's claims. Hooker's objections to a prior judicial act do not support disqualifying the judges in this action. App'x 817, 820-21 (11th Cir. 2017) (affirming the district court's decision to strike a premature summary judgment motion and explaining that "district courts have unquestionable authority to control their own dockets, including broad discretion in deciding how best to manage the cases before them" (cleaned up) (quotation omitted)); Green v. Rettig, 2021 WL 2435758 (M.D. Fla. June 15, 2021) (Howard, J.) (denying a summary judgment motion as premature where the parties had not yet engaged in discovery). The plaintiff may file a renewed motion after an adequate discovery period. Any future summary judgment motion filed in this case must take into consideration and be supported by the evidence disclosed during that discovery period.
