ENDORSED ORDER: Plaintiff is directed to establish--no later than December 4, 2023, and in a brief no longer than ten pages--why the Court should not dismiss this case for failure to properly allege a basis for federal jurisdiction. Specifically, Plaintiff should explain why there is diversity jurisdiction. For purposes of diversity jurisdiction, corporations have the citizenship of their states of incorporation and principal place of business. See Rolling Greens MHP v. Comcast SCH Holdings, L.L.C., 374 F.3d 1020, 1021 n.1 (11th Cir. 2004). A limited liability company, however, is a citizen of the states of its members. Id. at 1022. The Complaint identifies two defendants--InSync Healthcare Solutions, LLC, and Qualifacts Systems, LLC--as limited liability companies. It fails, however, to allege the citizenship of these defendants' members. Compl. (Doc. #1) at pp. 6-7.
