Filing 9
ENDORSED ORDER denying #8 Motion for Temporary Restraining Order; denying #8 Motion for Hearing / Conference. The motion fails to state a proper cause for a temporary restraining order. The federal courts do not sit in supervision, or provide ongoing review over, Florida state courts which are conducting ongoing proceedings that begun well prior to the instant federal case, except in very rare circumstances not present here. Superintendence of ongoing proceedings in state court is conducted by the District Courts of Appeal in the Florida state system. It would be exceedingly rare, almost unheard of, for a federal trial judge to enjoin a state trial judge in an ongoing state proceeding. Signed by Judge William F. Jung on 8/22/2025. (Jung, William) Modified on 8/22/2025 (Jung, William).
