Filing 20
ENDORSED ORDER: Upon sua sponte review of the amended complaint (Doc. #12), it appears that the Court does not have subject matter jurisdiction over this suit where the amended complaint fails to sufficiently allege the citizenship of the parties, including the corporate entities. Furthermore, it appears that venue may not be proper in the Middle District of Florida where (1) no defendants appear to reside within this District, and (2) the car accident at issue is alleged to have occurred in Carbon County, Wyoming. See 28 U.S.C. 1391. As such, on or before February 13, 2026, Plaintiff is directed to file a second amended complaint to cure these deficiencies. Plaintiff should keep in mind the rules governing how to allege the citizenship of corporations when filing a second amended complaint. Failure to file an amended complaint as directed will result in this Order becoming a final judgment. See Auto. Alignment & Body Serv., Inc. v. State Farm Mut. Auto. Ins. Co., 953 F.3d 707, 719-20 (11th Cir. 2020). Signed by Judge Thomas P. Barber on 1/29/2026. (ANL)
