ENDORSED ORDER DIRECTING Plaintiffs to file, within fourteen (14) days of the date of this Order, a paper showing cause why the Court should not deny the Motion to Strike Affirmative Defenses of Defendant American Finance LLC, (Dkt. 15), and the Motion to Strike Affirmative Defenses of Defendant 9 Second Recovery, (Dkt. 16), on the basis that the Motions include citations to cases that do not appear to exist and citations to cases that do not include the text quoted in the Motions. By submitting a motion to the Court a party represents that all the cases cited therein exist and support the proposition for which the case is cited. A party's failure to acknowledge a false representation to the Court following the Court's inquiry may present grounds for the imposition of sanctions. Should Plaintiffs fail to timely show cause the Court will, without further notice, deny the Motions.
