Filing 9
ENDORSED ORDER: The Court DENIES the #8 Motion to Reopen the Case. The plaintiff's only basis for the motion is the suggestion that the deputy clerk wrongfully entered judgment and dismissed the case without the Court's approval. See Motion (Doc. #8). But on April 1, 2026, this Court 3 concluded that this case was frivolous, dismissed the action, and directed the Clerk to enter judgment and close the case. Accordingly, the #8 Motion is denied. See Gagnon v. United States, No. 16-16569-C, 2017 WL 11664085, at *3 (11th Cir. June 16, 2017) (per curiam) (explaining that a "district court retain[s] jurisdiction" pending appeal "to address and deny [a] Rule 60(b) motion"). The Clerk is DIRECTED to send a copy of this order and the 3 Order Dismissing the Case to the Plaintiff. Signed by Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle on 4/14/2026.
