TEXT ORDER. On June 1, 2026, the Court ordered Plaintiff to show cause by no later than June 3, 2026, for her failure to update the Court on the status of her case as the Court had directed. (Doc. 17). The Court warned that Plaintiff's failure to show cause would result in her case being dismissed without further notice. (Id.). Plaintiff failed to show cause. Accordingly, this case is DISMISSED without prejudice for failure to prosecute. See, e.g. Link v. Wabash R.R. Co., 370 U.S. 626, 630-31 (1962) ("The authority of a court to dismiss sua sponte for lack of prosecution has generally been considered an 'inherent power,' governed not by rule or statute but by the control necessarily vested in courts to manage their own affairs so as to achieve the orderly and expeditious disposition of cases.").
