Filing 3 ORDER. The clerk shall forward to Petitioner a form for filing a 2241 petition, with the word "amended" typed on the form, as well as a form application to proceed in forma pauperis. This case number shall be written on the forms. The clerk shall recharacterize this case as a proceeding under 28 U.S.C. 2241. Within thirty (30) days from the date of this order, Petitioner shall submit payment in the amount of $5.00, or file a complete application to proceed in forma pauperis. Within the same time period, Petitioner shall file an amended petition, which shall be typed or clearly written and submitted on the court form or, alternatively, a notice of voluntary dismissal if Petitioner no longer wants to proceed with this action. Petitioner shall update his address with the Court upon any changes within seven (7) days of the change by filing a notice of change of address. Petitioner's failure to timely comply with this order may result in a recommendation that this case be dismissed for failure to prosecute and comply with an order of the Court.
