PAPERLESS ORDER granting #10 Motion for Extension of Time. Defendant seeks a second extension of time to respond to Plaintiff's Complaint (DE #1 ) through June 2, 2025. In support, Defendant represents that the Parties are currently engaged in settlement negotiations that may be able to resolve the claims raised in this action. Defendant also notes that its motion is unopposed by Plaintiff. Although I previously granted Defendant an extension of time to respond to the Complaint from April 28, 2025 until May 19, 2025, I find good cause for this second extension, based on the Parties' good faith negotiations to resolve this case at the early stages. Accordingly, Defendant shall respond to Plaintiff's Complaint on or by June 2, 2025. However, the Parties are advised that their inability to negotiate a settlement as planned shall not constitute good cause for any further extensions of this deadline. Therefore, if no Notice of Settlement is filed before June 2, 2025, Defendant must respond to the Complaint by that date.
