PAPERLESS ORDER. It is unclear from the certificate of service in Defendants' Motion to Dismiss (DE #11 ) whether Defendants mailed a copy of the filing to Plaintiff or simply e-filed the document and relied on e-filing for service. However, simply relying on e-filing is insufficient where, as here, the opposing party is pro se and does not receive electronic notices of filings. See CM/ECF Admin. Procs. 3K(3) ("A party who is not a User or is not otherwise authorized to electronically receive Notices of Electronic Filing is entitled to a paper copy of any electronically-filed document. It is the responsibility of the filing party to provide the party with the electronically-filed document according to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure."); Fed. R. Civ. P. 5. Accordingly, no later than April 14, 2026, Defendants shall file a notice showing that they served a copy of the motion by mail or other reliable means. If Defendants have not properly served Plaintiff with the motion, Defendants shall do so no later than April 14, 2026, filing a certificate of service with the Court upon completion.
