I note that Defendant filed the instant motion seeking an extension of time on the same day that its response to the Complaint was due. Defendant failed to provide any reason for needing an extension that was unknown to Defendant's counsel prior to the deadline. In accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 6(b)(1)(A), the Parties are advised that the better practice is to file a motion for extension of time before the deadline.
