July 16, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 10 PAPERLESS ORDER re #9 Response in Objection to Order. This Court construes petitioner's motion as a motion for reconsideration of the Court's order to amend. Upon further review of petitioner's pleadings, it appears that he has filed the following: an 11-page habeas petition listing grounds 1-4 [ECF 1]; a 32-page memorandum of law addressing grounds 1-17 [ECF 4]; a copy of the memorandum of law [ECF 1-1, pp. 3-8]; and approximately 50 pages of exhibits [ECF 1-1, pp. 9-59]. Local Rule 7.1(c)(2) states that "neither a motion and its incorporated memorandum of law" shall exceed (20) pages. However, in petitioner's case, several of the documents provided appear to be copies, and many of the grounds raised involve overlapping or related issues. Accordingly, petitioner's response, construed as a motion for reconsideration is granted. Given the number of documents and exhibits filed by the petitioner, and for purposes of clarity of the record, the Court will consider petitioner's petition [ECF 1], along with his memorandum of law [ECF 4] as the operative petition in this case. Signed by Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid on 7/16/2019. (rm01)
