PAPERLESS ORDER denying #30 Motion to Stay. The Defendants have not presented good cause sufficient to stay the proceedings. The Defendants were served with Plaintiff's Complaint on January 10, 2020, ECF No. #16 , and thereafter moved for and were granted two extensions of time to file a response to Plaintiff's Complaint, ECF Nos. 21 and 29 . While the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus may prohibit face-to-face contact and a need for social distancing, the Defendants have failed to explain why they have been unable to communicate by telephone, email, text or video-conference. Moreover, the Court granted the last extension of time based upon the following representation: "The parties to this action continue to be in communication with each other and are currently engaging in good-faith negotiations to possibly resolve this matter in its entirety. The parties have mutually agreed that it would be in all the parties' best interest if they were allowed an additional enlargement of time of ten (10) days to be allowed to continue to negotiate this matter and not force the Defendants to immediately incur the litigation costs associated with filing a response to the Plaintiff's Complaint." As the negotiations did not result in a resolution, the Defendants shall file their response to the Plaintiff's Complaint consistent with the Court's Order, ECF No. 29 .
