March 26, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 13 PAPERLESS ORDER: The Court grants in part #10 the Defendant's opposed motion for an extension of time to respond to the complaint. The Defendant's request for an indefinite stay, however, is denied. Because of difficulties presented by the current crisis, and considering Judge Torres's granting of an extension of time for the Defendant to respond to the Plaintiff's motion for a preliminary injunction, the Court affords the Defendants until May 22, 2020, to respond to the complaint. The Court is not unmindful of the unprecedented difficulties presented by the Coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, there is much the parties and attorneys can accomplish remotely, and while maintaining social distancing, in litigating this case. To the extent that these tasks can be accomplished, the Court will endeavor to encourage parties to continue litigating their cases whenever that may be possible. Signed by Judge Robert N.
