PAPERLESS ORDER: The Court grants, in part, #16 the Defendants' motion for leave to exceed the page limitation of their motion to dismiss the amended complaint. Ordinarily, the Court would agree with the Plaintiff that enlarged briefs ordinarily do not assist the Court because they are often belabored with repetitive arguments. Further, the Plaintiff is correct that the Southern District of Florida's CM/ECF Administrative Procedures Rule 3I(1) requires a movant to attach the proposed filing when seeking leave of court to file a document. However, because the Court requires multiple parties to file joint motions and the complaint here includes twenty-one counts, against six different Defendants, the Court finds the practicalities of this litigation and the press of deadlines warrant some accommodation. Further, the Defendants' motion is not devoid of analysis and, upon review, provides sufficient justification for a modest expansion of the page limitation to twenty-five pages. Should the Defendants seek further enlargement of the page limitation, however, to thirty pages, they must submit the proposed filing for the Court's review, to determine whether the excess pages are indeed necessary.
