PAPERLESS ORDER: granting in part and denying in part the parties' joint motion to extend deadlines for Defendant to respond to Plaintiffs' request for production and to amend pleadings and join parties. First, the Court notes (as do the parties in their motion) that their request to extend the time for the Defendant to respond to the Plaintiffs' request for production is unnecessary. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 29(b); Tate v. U.S. Postal Svc., No. 04-61509, 2007 WL 521848, at *2 (S.D. Fla. Feb. 14, 2007) (Torres, Mag. J.) ("No motion for extension of time should ever be filed when the parties are in agreement and a court-ordered deadline is not being compromised."). As the parties do not need the Court's permission to extend this deadline, the Court denies this portion of the parties' joint motion. Turning to the parties' request that the Court extend the deadline to join additional parties or amend their pleadings by thirty days to July 16, 2021, the Court grants this request. The Court notes, however, that in the three months this matter has been pending before the Court, the parties, both individually and separately, inclusive of this request, have sought six extensions of time.
