Filing 10 PAPERLESS ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. On March 4, 2022, the Clerk entered default #9 against Defendant Vertical Textiles, LLC for failure to respond to the Complaint or otherwise appear in this action. Accordingly, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Plaintiff is provided until and including March 14, 2022 to file a Motion for Entry of FINAL Default Judgment, together with appropriate affidavits and documentation, against Defendant or show cause why this case should not be dismissed for lack of prosecution. The Motion shall incorporate a memorandum of law demonstrating that service upon an employee of Defendant's registered agent was proper and that the Court may enter default judgment based on the service. The memorandum of law shall also apply the facts alleged in the Complaint to the elements of Plaintiff's causes of action, showing that "plaintiff has alleged sufficient facts to state a plausible claim for relief" as to each Count. Surtain v. Hamlin Terrace Found., 789 F.3d 1239, 1246 (11th Cir. 2015). Plaintiff shall also file on the docket and email to chambers (at lenard@flsd.uscourts.gov) a proposed order granting Plaintiff's Motion for Final Default Judgment, which analyzes the facts and the law and clearly explains why Plaintiff is entitled to default judgment.
