PAPERLESS ORDER denying #8 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis. Plaintiff's initial Complaint [ECF No. 1] was dismissed as a shotgun pleading. (See Jan. 18, 2023 Order [ECF No. 5]). The Amended Complaint [ECF No. 7], filed contemporaneously with Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis, names five Defendants and is as much a shotgun pleading as Plaintiff's first Complaint. Because the Amended Complaint fails to give each of the named Defendants adequate notice of the claim or claims against them and the grounds upon which each claim rests, the Motion for Leave to Proceed is denied as moot, and the Amended Complaint [ECF No. 7] is dismissed without prejudice.
