PAPERLESS ORDER REQUIRING JOINT STIPULATION OF DISMISSAL AND ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSING CASE. THIS MATTER is before the Court on the notice indicating that the Parties have reached a settlement. (DE #9 .) Accordingly, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that on or before May 26, 2023, the Parties shall file a joint stipulation of dismissal. PAPERLESS ORDER granting ECF No. #7 Defendant I Heart Fries US, LLC's ("Defendant") Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Complaint. As an initial matter, it must be noted that Defendant failed to comply with Judge Williams's Practices and Procedures which states in relevant part: "Absent an emergency, requests for extensions of time must be presented to the Court, by motion, no later than 48 hours prior to the deadline from which the Parties are seeking relief. Sanctions may be imposed for non-emergent requests made less than 48 hours prior to the deadline." Here, Defendant did not file its Motion until the day its response to Plaintiff's Complaint was due. Defendant is warned that future failure to abide by the Court's Practices and Procedures and this District's Local Rules may result in sanctions.
