PAPERLESS ORDER Directing Clerk to Enter Default. On April 17, 2023, Defendant Autonomy Investment Puerto Rico, LLC filed a Notice of Removal. (DE #1 .) Attached to the Notice of Removal was Plaintiff's State Court Notice of Service of Process alleging service on Defendant Ulla Holding, Inc. on March 10, 2023. (DE 1-1.) There is no indication in the record that Defendant Ulla Holding, Inc. responded to the Complaint in state court. Accordingly, pursuant to Rule 81(c) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Defendant Ulla Holding, Inc.'s response to the Complaint was due on April 24, 2023. To date, Defendant Ulla Holding, Inc. has not appeared or filed a responsive pleading to the Complaint. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure provide that the Clerk must enter default against a defendant who has failed to plead or otherwise defend. Accordingly, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Clerk is directed to ENTER DEFAULT against Defendant Ulla Holding, Inc.On or before June 19, 2023, Plaintiff shall file a motion for final default judgment against Defendant Ulla Holding, Inc. and serve it in accordance with Rule 55(b)(2) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The motion shall be accompanied by a proposed default final judgment order setting forth the sum certain owed as money damages and the sum certain sought for attorneys' fees and costs supported by sufficient evidence, through affidavits or otherwise, to establish the basis for damages and other relief sought in the pleadings. The motion shall also reference specific legal authority establishing Plaintiff's entitlement to the relief sought and demonstrating that service was proper. Signed by Judge Kathleen M.
