PAPERLESS ORDER granting #21 the Plaintiff's Motion to Continue Hearing on Preliminary Injunction and to Extend the Temporary Restraining Order (the "Motion"). The Plaintiff requests a 7-day extension, through December 28, 2023, to the temporary restraining order. The Plaintiff also asks us to extend the preliminary-injunction hearing to December 28, 2023. Under Rule 65(b)(2) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, a temporary restraining order "expires at the time after entry -- not to exceed 14 days -- that the court sets, unless before that time the court, for good cause, extends it for a like period or the adverse party consents to a longer extension." Fairness to the Defendants sounds like good cause to us. We therefore GRANT the Motion as follows: 1. The temporary restraining order shall remain in effect until December 28, 2023. 2.
