March 28, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 4 PAPERLESS ORDER GRANTING #3 Plaintiff's Motion to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying Fees or Costs (the "Application"). Having reviewed the Application, which Plaintiff submits under penalty of perjury, the Complaint (ECF No. #1 ), and being otherwise advised in the matter, the undersigned finds that Plaintiff is unable to pay the filing fee and that the Complaint states a plausible cause of action. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(1), (e)(2)(B). More specifically, Plaintiff asserts that he cannot work because of his disability but receives $2,500 in total monthly income by renting a room in his house. See ECF No. #3 at 1-2. Plaintiff also asserts that he has $2,635 in average monthly expenses, only $5 in savings, and no ability to pay the filing fee. Id. at 2. Accordingly, Plaintiff's Application is GRANTED. Further, based on Supplemental Rule 3 for Social Security Actions under 42 U.S.C. 405(g), electronic service will be completed by the Clerk of Court.
