Indeed, the Defendants tell us that they "were not able to achieve a joint schedule" with opposing counsel, and they ask that "this matter advance to be heard and judged by a common-law jury of men and women within the community." Removal Status Report #10 at 10. But parties may not opt out of deadlines in federal court. Accordingly, we hereby order that, by April 26, 2024, the parties shall file a joint scheduling report that complies with Local Rule 16.1.
