PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE is before the Court on the "Notice of Inquiry" ("Notice"), ECF No. #5 , filed by Plaintiff Kelvin Frazier, in accordance with the mailbox rule, on January 28, 2026. Id. at 1. In the Notice, Plaintiff seeks the status of the complaint and motion to appoint counsel filed in this civil rights action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983. Review of the Court's docket reveals that on January 28, 2026, after reviewing Plaintiff's complaint, the Court entered an Order dismissing the Complaint without prejudice, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(g), denying all pending motions as moot, and closing the case. It appears the Court's Order was mailed on the same day Plaintiff handed his Notice to prison authorities for mailing. Further, the Clerk of Court has since mailed Plaintiff a copy of the docket which indicates that the complaint was dismissed and the case closed. ECF No. #5 . Accordingly, upon review of Plaintiff's Notice, the pertinent portions of the record, and relevant authorities, Plaintiff's Notice, ECF No. #5 , is DENIED as moot to the extent it is construed as a motion seeking the status of his case.
