PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE comes before the Court upon Respondent's Response to Petitioner's Verified Petition for Habeas Corpus. ECF No. #6 . In the Response, Respondent asserts that Petitioner's claim is moot because, on April 16, 2026, Petitioner was released from custody and removed, at his request, from the United States to the Bahamas to attend his son's funeral. Id.. On May 1, 2026, the Court held a hearing on the Response. ECF No. #4 at 2. Having heard argument of counsel and upon due consideration of the Response and the relevant authorities, the Court agrees that the Petition is moot. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Petition is DENIED AS MOOT and this action is DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. The Clerk is directed to CLOSE this case.
