Filing 6 PAPERLESS ORDER denying #5 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP Motion"). The Court dismissed this (closed) action because the Plaintiff "didn't pay the filing fee or seek leave to proceed in forma paupers" in compliance with the Court's prior orders. Order Dismissing Case [ECF No. #4 ] at 1 ("Order"). Specifically, prior to dismissing this action, the Court warned the Plaintiff that, if he elects to file an IFP motion, he must file "an adequate application to proceed IFP" by March 18, 2021. Order to Show Cause [ECF No. #3 ]. The Plaintiff--a prisoner in custody at the Florida Department of Corrections--never submitted "a certified copy of the trust fund account statement (or institutional equivalent)" as required by 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(2). See IFP Motion. Accordingly, the Court DENIES the IFP Motion [ECF No. #5 ] for failure to comply with 1915(a)(2). See Albra v. Advan, Inc., 490 F.3d 826, 829 (11th Cir. 2007) ("[A]lthough we are to give liberal construction to the pleadings of pro se litigants, we nevertheless have required them to conform to procedural rules."
