Date Filed Document Text
October 22, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 12 PAPERLESS ORDER granting in part #11 Plaintiff's Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time. The deadline for Plaintiff to respond to Defendant's Motion to Dismiss is October 22, 2021. (DE #9 ). Plaintiff seeks an extension until October 29, 2021, citing only that counsel "requires a brief unopposed extension of time." (DE #11 at 1). Plaintiff's Motion is supported by a single conclusory assertion which does not provide the Court with any basis upon which to evaluate whether good cause exists to grant the requested relief. Nevertheless, I will grant the Motion in part because it is unopposed. Accordingly, the deadline for Plaintiff to respond to Defendant's Motion to Dismiss is October 25, 2021. Future requests for extensions of this or any other deadline will be denied unless the moving party can demonstrate good cause supported by specific facts. Signed by Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks on 10/22/2021. (kal)
