PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon the Government's Motion for Extension of Time. #6 . Therein, the Government seeks an extension of twenty-one (21) days to respond to Movant Donald Rolle's pro se Motion to Vacate because "Movant's trial counsel is out-of-state for work purposes and has been since the previous week, and prior to that was on leave for bereavement purposes," but "would like more time to review [Movant's] file and case records." Id. at 2. The Government contends this information is necessary to inform its forthcoming response. Id. The Court notes that it issued the Order to Show Cause on July 14, 2025, and provided an "extended period to respond" for the express purpose of avoiding the need to extend the same. (ECF No. 4) at 1. The Court further notes that the Motion was filed only five days prior to the response deadline. Nevertheless, the Court will grant the relief requested. Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION of the Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Motion #6 is GRANTED. The Government shall file its response on or before September 8, 2025. No further extensions of time will be granted in this matter absent compelling circumstances. Signed by Judge K.
