March 5, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 11 PAPERLESS ORDER granting in part and denying in part #10 the Parties' Agreed Motion for Extension of Time. The Parties jointly request a 10-day extension of the deadline for Defendant to respond to Plaintiff's Complaint (DE #1 ) and state in support that this extension is needed to "allow counsel for Defendant necessary time to evaluate the Complaint and investigate the alleged barriers to access" and to "give the parties an opportunity to discuss ways to resolve the case without judicial intervention." As discussed in my previous paperless order (DE #8 ), I do not find that this language sufficiently explains why an extension is necessary. Accordingly, I will grant only a 2-day extension until March 11, 2020. No further extension of this deadline will be granted absent a compelling showing of good cause supported by specific facts. Signed by Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks on 3/5/2020. (gts)

February 28, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 9 PAPERLESS ORDER granting in part and denying in part #7 the Parties' Agreed Motion for Extension of Time. The Parties jointly request a 30-day extension of the deadline for Defendant to respond to Plaintiff's Complaint (DE #1 ) and state in support that this extension is needed to "allow counsel for Defendant necessary time to evaluate the Complaint and investigate the alleged barriers to access" and to "give the parties an opportunity to discuss ways to resolve the case without judicial intervention." I do not find that these reasons constitute good cause to grant a 30-day extension. Accordingly, I will allow a 10-day extension until March 9, 2020. The Parties are reminded that they may consent to the jurisdiction of United States Magistrate Judge Dave Lee Brannon, who generally allows the Parties great flexibility in setting the course and schedule of their case. The consent form can be found in the ADA Scheduling Order (DE #4 ). Signed by Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks on 2/28/2020. (gts)
