PAPERLESS ORDER SETTING DEADLINE FOR FILING CLOSING DOCUMENTS. The Parties have filed a Notice of Pending Settlement (DE #6 ). The Court congratulates the Parties on their amicable resolution of this matter; however, the Parties' request for 30 days to file closing documents is denied, as no good cause for such a delay is set forth in the Notice. The Parties are therefore directed to file appropriate closing documents within ten (10) days of their Notice, or by October 9, 2020, consistent with the instructions set forth in the ADA Title III Scheduling Order. (DE #4 at 3). The Parties may move for the Court to retain jurisdiction upon closing the case if necessary to enforce the terms of their settlement agreement. With respect to the Parties' request to stay all pending deadlines while they finalize their settlement documents, that request is denied, as the court does not view the filing of a notice of settlement as a basis to stay the ongoing litigation in its entirety. Because no deadline set in the ADA Title III Scheduling Order falls within this 10-day period, I decline to extend any specific deadline at this time. Signed by Judge Donald M.
