Filing 17 PAPERLESS ORDER granting #16 Defendants' Motion for Leave, which I have construed as a Motion for Extension of Time. Defendants Melissa Morgan-Wright, Professional Accounting by MM, and ATM & More seek an extension until January 11, 2021, of the deadline to respond to the Government's Motion for Preliminary Injunction. In support, they cite that the counsel who filed this Motion "has not been retained to represent the defendants in the instant matter" and, due to counsel's litigation schedule and Defendant Melissa Morgan-Wright's work schedule, counsel "has not had an opportunity to fully conference with Wright to determine how she wishes to proceed with the course of this litigation, including determination of counsel." (DE #16 at 2). Because the relief is unopposed and counsel represents that the Parties "initiate[d] discussions for possible resolution of this matter," I will grant the Motion. Therefore, the deadline for Defendants Melissa Morgan-Wright, Professional Accounting by MM, and ATM & More to respond to the Government's Motion for Preliminary Injunction is extended to January 11, 2021. No other litigation deadlines are modified or amended as a result of this Order. (Responses due by 1/11/2021) Signed by Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks on 12/31/2020. (kal) |
