PAPERLESS ORDER granting in part #13 Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time. Defendants request a 21-day extension of time to respond to the Complaint on the grounds that counsel was "recently retained" and requires additional time "to prepare a proper response." (DE #13 at 2). Motions for extension of time must establish good cause supported by specific facts. Defendants' vague and generalized reasons for requiring an extension fall short of the good cause standard. Notwithstanding, because the Motion is unopposed, I will grant a brief one-week extension. Accordingly, Defendants shall respond to the Complaint on or before September September 7, 2021. Additionally, I note that Defendants' motion was docketed on the filing deadline.
