PAPERLESS ORDER ADDING MOTION TO BE HEARD AT HEARING: The Court has reviewed #27 Defendants' Motion to Compel Deposition of Plaintiff. In order to ensure judicial economy, the Court will hear this motion during the discovery hearing previously scheduled for January 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. 22 . Plaintiff shall respond to the Motion #27 on or before December 28, 2021. Defendants shall file their reply on or before January 3, 2022. The Court notes that the parties and their counsel are causing numerous discovery disputes in this case. There also appears to be a lack of good faith, personal conferral among counsel regarding the discovery disputes. The parties and their counsel should be aware that the Court shall impose sanctions or cost-shifting against any party or counsel who fails to comply with all discovery obligations, fails to comply with applicable rules and orders, or who takes a frivolous, dilatory, or unreasonable discovery position.
