PAPERLESS ORDER SETTING DEADLINE TO FILE CLOSING DOCUMENTS. The Defendant has notified the Court that the Parties have settled this matter (DE #9 ), and the Court congratulates them on reaching an amicable resolution of this case. The Parties shall file appropriate dismissal documents within 10 days, or no later than August 25, 2023. The Parties' request for 30 days to file closing documents is denied, as no good cause for such a delay is set forth in the Notice. Moreover, the Parties are advised that the Notice of Settlement does not stay ongoing litigation, and their request to vacate all current deadlines is likewise denied. I note however that Defendant's response to the Complaint was due on August 7 and it was not filed. In light of the pending settlement, I will extend that deadline only to August 25, 2023.
