Defendant seeks to extend the deadline to respond to Plaintiff's Complaint (DE #1 ) by 21 days, from February 24, 2025 to March 17, 2025. In support, Defendant states that it retained trademark counsel in connection with this case on February 20, 2025 and that it retained its local counsel the next day. As such, Defendant requests its extension of time to allow its "counsel sufficient time to rigorously investigate the claims alleged in Plaintiff's complaint before submitting a document responsive to the Complaint." (DE #8 at 1). Defendant has also filed a Supplement to its Motion (DE #9 ) where it indicates that Plaintiff's counsel does not object to the relief sought. Motions for Extension of Time must demonstrate good cause supported by specific facts. The facts alleged here are somewhat sparse, but as the Motion is unopposed, I will grant the requested relief in part.
