Filing 7 EO: On May 4, 2020, Plaintiffs filed a complaint and motion for preliminary injunction. ECF Nos. #1 , #2 . Among other matters, the motion for preliminary injunction seeks "to stop Defendants from interfering with Plaintiffs' protest scheduled for this coming Friday, May 8, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. for a few hours in front of the State Capitol building on Beretania Street." ECF No. 2-1 at PageID #31. A motion for preliminary injunction, however, is not the proper vehicle for obtaining the immediate relief such as that apparently sought by Plaintiffs. Thus, without anything further from Plaintiffs, the court will proceed to schedule a hearing on Plaintiffs' motion for preliminary injunction in the normal course (with a hearing likely in June 2020).
