September 11, 2023 Filing 18 EO: In this closed case, on September 9, 2023, Plaintiff Raj Patel filed (1) a motion to file documents under seal ("motion to seal"), and (2) a second motion for reconsideration ("second motion"). Dkt. Nos. #16 - #17 . Both motions are DENIED. The motion to seal is DENIED because Patel provides no pertinent reason for why any document in this case should be sealed. The second motion is DENIED not least because it is a carbon-copy of the motion to seal, which itself provides no reason for why the Court's Order dismissing this case should be reconsidered. Finally, in light of Patel's continued filings in this closed case, see also Dkt. Nos. #14 - #15 , the Court advises Patel that no action will be taken on any further documents filed in this case other than processing any notice of appeal. IT IS SO ORDERED. (CHIEF JUDGE DERRICK K. August 8, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 10 ORDER DISMISSING CASE WITH PREJUDICE re #1 , #3 , #9 - Signed by CHIEF JUDGE DERRICK K. WATSON on 8/8/2023. Patel's assertions have no place in this Court, and nothing can be done to cure them. 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2)(B); Fed.R.Civ.P. 8(a); Ashcroft v. Iqbal, 556 U.S. 662, 678 (2009); Ashelman v. Pope, 793 F.2d 1072, 1078 (9th Cir. 1986) (explaining that no opportunity to amend need be permitted where amendment would clearly be futile). This case is, therefore, DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE, the IFP application (Dkt. No. 3) is DENIED as moot, and the Clerk is instructed to CLOSE this case. (eta)COURT'S CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE - Raj K.
