TEXT ORDER Entered by Magistrate Judge Eric I. Long on 8/2/19. On July 17, 2019, Plaintiff filed a Motion for Leave to Serve a Subpoena on Non-Party IDOC for Limited Information #17 . Plaintiff's Motion asks for leave to serve a subpoena on non-party IDOC to obtain "crisis logs" that Plaintiff says are needed to explore potential claims. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 45, Plaintiff does not need leave of Court to issue a subpoena. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 45(a)(3) (stating that an attorney authorized to practice in the issuing Court may issue and sign a subpoena). Plaintiff has not shown (and the Court cannot find) any reason why Plaintiff needs leave of court to subpoena crisis logs concerning her own care. Accordingly, Plaintiff's Motion #17 is DENIED.
