TEXT ORDER: The Defendant Nationwide General Insurance Company is directed to show cause, by 10/3/2019, why this case should not be remanded to the State Court for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The underlying action appears to be a direct action which, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1332(c)(1), requires the Court to know the citizenship of the insured as well as the insurer. The Notice of Removal is silent as to the Defendant's insured's citizenship such that the Notice of Removal's allegations do not sufficiently support the assertion of diversity jurisdiction.
