TEXT ORDER entered by Judge James E. Shadid on 5/17/2021. The Court entered an Order #10 , directing Plaintiff to submit a $402 filing fee because Plaintiff had previously accumulated three strikes as defined by 28 U.S.C. Sec 1915(g). The Court advised Plaintiff that if he did not submit the fee or request an extension of time on or before May 5, 2021, the Court would dismiss his case, but Plaintiff has not complied. Accordingly, the Court dismisses Plaintiff's case for his failure to comply with the Court's order. See Harris v. Emanuele, 826 F. Appx. 567, 569 (7th Cir. 2020) (affirming the district court's denial to reopen the case after dismissing the Plaintiff's suit for failure to comply with the district court's orders to update his address and prosecute his case); see also Shaffer v. Lashbrook, 962 F.3d 313, 315-17 (7th Cir. 2020) (affirming the denial to reopen the case on similar factual circumstances). (KE)

TEXT ORDER entered by Judge James E. Shadid on 4/13/2021. Plaintiff has filed a Complaint but has not paid the $402 filing fee nor filed a petition to proceed in forma pauperis. Within 21 days of the entry of this order, Plaintiff must pay the $402 filing fee in full or file a petition to proceed in forma pauperis with attached trust fund ledgers for the last 6 months. Failure to comply without good cause will result in dismissal of this case without prejudice, and the Plaintiff will still be responsible for payment of the filing fee. See 28 U.S.C. Sec. 1914. The Clerk is directed to send Plaintiff the forms for proceeding in forma pauperis. (KE)
