TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Michael M. Mihm on 3/21/2023. On 3/7/2023, Plaintiff filed a #3 Petition to Proceed in Forma Pauperis ("IFP Petition") that appeared to be missing the second page. As a result, the Court denied Plaintiff's IFP Petition and directed him to file a renewed IFP Petition setting forth his income, assets, and expenses on or before 3/22/2023. (See d/e 3/8/2023). The Court warned Plaintiff that if he failed to either pay the $402 filing fee or renew his IFP Petition on or before 3/22/2023, his case would be dismissed. Id. The Clerk provided Plaintiff with an IFP form to assist him. (See Doc. #5 ). Plaintiff now files a #6 Motion for Order stating that the second page of his IFP Petition was included in the copy the law library at Pontiac Correctional Center filed with the Court. On 3/9/2023, Plaintiff asked the law library to file another IFP Petition. Plaintiff states that the law library refused to file his renewed IFP Petition and return his documents. Plaintiff asks the Court to order the Warden to investigate the situation and to send Plaintiff's IFP Petition to the Court. The Court cannot order the Warden to conduct an investigation or to send Plaintiff's IFP Petition to the Court. Therefore, #6 is DENIED; however, the Clerk is DIRECTED to mail a copy of this Text Order to the Warden. The Court will sua sponte extend the deadline for Plaintiff to file a renewed IFP Petition. If Plaintiff fails to either pay the $402 filing fee or renew his IFP Petition on or before 4/5/2023, his case will be dismissed.(SAG)
