TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Colleen R. Lawless on 5/8/2023: This matter is before the Court on Christen D. Schulte's Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus #1 under 28 U.S.C. 2241, wherein Petitioner raises three grounds concerning time she alleges should be credited toward her sentence. Petitioner names the Warden at Federal Prison Camp Pekin as the Respondent. Rule 4 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases in United States District Courts provides that the judge must dismiss the petition if it plainly appears Petitioner is not entitled to relief. Rule 1(b) of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases authorizes this Court to apply the Section 2254 Rules to other habeas corpus cases like this one. Because the Court is unable to determine that it plainly appears Petitioner is not entitled to relief, the Court hereby ORDERS the United States of America to answer the petition pursuant to Rule 5 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases. The answer shall be filed by 5/26/2023. Any reply from Petitioner shall be filed by 6/16/2023. (JPL)
