TEXT ONLY ORDER: On 9/29/23, Defendant filed a Notice of Removal, removing the state law complaint filed in Christian County, Illinois to the Central District of Illinois, Peoria Division. Plaintiff who proceeds under 28 U.S.C. 1446(a), identifies herself as a resident of Springfield, Illinois, and Defendant as a citizen of the States of Delaware and Arkansas. The situs where the incident is alleged to have occurred is in Christian County in Springfield, Illinois. The change of venue statute, 28 U.S.C. 1404(a) provides: "For the convenience of parties and witnesses, in the interest of justice, a district court may transfer any civil action to any other district or division where it might have been brought or to any district or division to which all parties have consented."
