April 23, 2026 Opinion or Order Filing 21 TEXT ORDER ONLY: Now before the Court is Defendant's #19 Motion for Leave to File Document Under Seal in which it seeks to keep its #20 Response in Opposition to Plaintiff's Motion under seal. Under Local Rule 5.1(A)(3), a party may not rely on the Court's electronic notice facilities to effectuate service of a sealed filing but rather, must serve the sealed filing in accordance with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Local Rules of the Court. CDIL-LR 5.1(A)(3). Despite this Rule, Defendant's Certificate of Service states that the sealed #20 Motion was only served on Plaintiff through the CM/ECF system. D. 20 at 27.
