TEXT ORDER: The parties' 8 Joint Motion to Amend is GRANTED. Under Fed. R. Civ. P. 15(a)(2), a party may amend its pleading before trial "with the opposing party's written consent." Defendant has consented to Plaintiff's filing an amended complaint, which will be allowed. Plaintiff asks the Court for twenty-eight days in which to file its amended complaint; Defendant consents to that request but in turn asks for 28 days to respond after the amended complaint is filed. In light of the issues involved in the case, the Court finds this schedule reasonable. Accordingly, Plaintiff must file an amended complaint on or by June 8, 2026; Defendant, in turn, must file an answer or other responsive motion on or by July 6, 2026. Entered by Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Hanna on May 11, 2026. (NL)
