Plaintiff Taylor has filed a Motion to Dismiss #9 that the Court construes as a notice of dismissal under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(i), which permits dismissal of an action before the opposing party serves either an answer or a motion for summary judgment. Therefore, the Court DIRECTS the Clerk of the Court to close this case. See Jenkins v. Village of Maywood, 506 F.3d 622, 624 (7th Cir. 2007) (noting that a stipulation of dismissal that meets the requirements of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1) is effective when filed); see also Fed R.
