Filing 14 MERIT REVIEW OPINION - Entered by Judge Harold A. Baker on 8/17/2016. Plaintiff's complaint is dismissed as a violation of Rule 8 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. See 28 U.S.C. §1915A. The Clerk of the Court is also directed to dis miss Defendants Jerome Combs Detention Center and the Kankakee County Detention Center. The Court will allow the Plaintiff an opportunity to file an amended complaint to clarify his claims. The amended complaint must provide the factual information referenced in this order to put the Defendants on notice of Plaintiff's specific claims. The Plaintiff must file his amended complaint in compliance with this order within twenty-one days of the date on this order. The Clerk of the Court is t o provide the Plaintiff with a blank complaint form to assist him. Failure to follow the Court's directions or failure to file the amended complaint by the deadline will result in the dismissal of this lawsuit. The Clerk of the Court is to reset the internal merit review deadline for thirty days from this order. (LN, ilcd) |
